WEDG can deliver whole-school assemblies on a range of global topics. This might fit in with a special ‘week’ you are holding, or be a one-off event to raise awareness or introduce a new topic. Recent assembly themes have included: chocolate, global connections, recycling in Ghana and Fairtrade jeans.

Our assemblies always involve audience participation, and whenever possible we make use of our exciting range of cultural artefacts to bring the topic to life. Content can be adapted to suit any age group or ability.

Assemblies are available free of charge to WEDG members within East Kent (we just ask you cover the cost of travel). If you are not a member of WEDG, but would like to host an assembly, please contact WEDG to discuss how we can help.
