"My Dad Says ..." Watch the video

This project in partnership with the University of Kent worked with the same cohort of  young people and their teachers over  three years on the complex theme of migration, improving critcal thinking skills and raising levels of empathy. Six teams of young people presented their 'news reports' to the final Conference taking the theme of 'Money Migration and Me' as their starting point.

Ralph Leighton, Principal Lecturer in Citizenship at Canterbury Christ Church University and finalist judge said,

'All the presentations show that the students have got it - this project demonstrates that young people can tackle complex global issues in today's world. '
